Rochester Davis-Fetch Proposed 3rd LeRoy Investment

UPDATE: GCEDC Board Advanced Expansion Project in LeRoy
The Genesee County Economic Development Center (GCEDC) board of directors advanced an initial resolution at its August 6th meeting for a $1.2 million expansion project by Rochester Davis-Fetch Corp.
The company would expand its operations by constructing a free-standing 16,500-square-foot facility at 9 Lent Avenue. It is the third project by the company in the Village of LeRoy since 2024. The company currently employs 17 full-time equivalent (FTE) positions related to previous projects, exceeding original job pledges.
The proposed project is estimated to produce $616,097 in future benefits to the local community, including construction wages and an increase in property tax revenue.
The project is estimated to generate a $3 local benefit for every $1 of requested incentives.
Rochester Davis-Fetch Corp. is requesting assistance from the GCEDC with an exemption from the 8% state and local sales taxes for construction and equipment estimated at $64,000, and a 10-year Payment-in-Lieu-of-Taxes (PILOT) abating $198,634 of future property taxes generated by the new facility.
A public hearing on the proposed project agreements for Rochester Davis-Fetch Corp. will be scheduled in the Village of LeRoy.
