The GCEDC has partnered with other County organizations to expand the expertise and guidance that we can offer your business. GCEDC offers the following support services:
Property Development and Management
The GCEDC has worked in conjunction with private and public partners to develop 6 shovel ready, industry specific business parks. Total acreage of the business parks exceeds 2,000 acres, strategically located along Genesee County's three NYS Thruway exits. The GCEDC also owns and manages The Upstate Med & Tech Centre which is a dedicated to business in the life science/ medical device field.
Consulting Services
We offer business and financial assessments, site selection services, and property development and management, including marketing, financing, gaining municipal approval, infrastructure development, and property management.
Financial Assistance/Capital Formation:

- Sale Lease Back Agreement
- Low Cost Financing (Revolving Loan Funds, Bonds, Grants)
Marketing
We work with local and regional partners including the Genesee County Chamber of Commerce, the Buffalo Niagara Enterprise, the Greater Rochester Enterprise and the Cornell Cooperative Extension to provide marketing services and opportunities to our companies.
