Public Hearing Set for STREAM US Data Centers Project

BATAVIA, NY – The Genesee County Economic Development Center (GCEDC) will conduct a public hearing for proposed agreements regarding the STREAM U.S. Data Centers project. The hearing will take place on Thursday, March 19 at 7 p.m. at the Town of Alabama Fire Hall, 2230 Judge Road, Basom, NY 14013.

Public comments may also be submitted to [email protected] through Tuesday, March 31.

A revised application was submitted by STREAM U.S. Data Centers on Thursday to increase the project’s capital investment to $19.46 billion. The proposed agreements include $285 million in PILOT/host revenues to support tax relief, local services and infrastructure investments benefiting the people of Genesee County, the Town of Alabama, and the Oakfield-Alabama Central School District.
