BATAVIA, NY – “The Genesee County Economic Development Center (GCEDC) Board of Directors unanimously approved a motion at our February 5 meeting to initiate the review process for a financial assistance application from STREAM U.S. Data Centers.

“We are directing GCEDC staff to prepare a final analysis of economic impacts related to the proposed project’s capital investment, construction and permanent job creation, and community investment in advance of a future public hearing.

“A final decision and resolution related to the application for financial incentives will only be considered by the GCEDC Board of Directors following both the public hearing and the completion of the SEQR environmental review process initiated in December 2025.”
