Genesee County is located in the heart of Western New York. Conveniently situated between the major metropolitans of Buffalo and Rochester, the county is home to three NYS Thruway Exits (I-90) and many major highways. With more than 1,000 miles of public roadways, there is outstanding access to regional, national, and international markets. In fact, over 50% of the population of the US and 60% of Canada are within 500 miles of Genesee County.
Genesee County by Air:
A local airport can accommodate most business class aircraft's with a 5,500 foot runway. The county sits 30 minutes between two major airports; Rochester and Buffalo.
Genesee County by Rail:
CSX’s main line runs directly through the county with short lines available for businesses in some areas.
