The GCEDC, along with its partners at Harris Beach and Freed, Maxick & Battaglia, offers client consulting to businesses considering the Empire Zone certification process. The GCEDC has developed a financial model of the Empire Zone program that allows us to assess a company's long-term financial benefit potential of the Empire Zone. It facilitates company decisions regarding business expansion and capital investment.

After agreeing to engage our consulting services, the company will be asked to complete a form showing historical employment, projected employment and revenues, as well as some other basic company information. We will use that information to provide for the company an estimate of the financial benefits available under the Empire Zone program. We will also be able to assess the most advantageous time for certification.
